A New York Escorts Confessions
Body Double
I think I’m developing a case of schizophrenia.
Seriously.
Since I’ve been down here in Montgomery, S and I have been out and about and then some. Wednesday we had dinner with one of the other doctors in S’s practice and his wife. Thursday it was drinks at the country club with S’s golf buddies. Friday it was the Alabama Shakespeare Festival with one of the city’s hospital administrators and Saturday a mimosa brunch at S’s neighbors’ house in Cloverdale.
At each event I was Alexa, girl-about-town New Yorker and S’s hot new squeeze. We had met—so the story went—through one of S’s former patients. Oh wait. That actually WAS true. Our relationship had been strictly platonic (ha!) until S moved down South. Once we were apart though we suddenly realized how much stronger our feelings were for each other. “I married the wrong girl, can you believe it?” S would say over and over again to anyone who would listen. “But thank God I’ve got the right one now.” And he’d give my wrist a little squeeze.
For all of these occasions S wanted me shiny and sexy, bejeweled and tastefully appointed. He wanted his friends and acquaintances to be jealous, to wonder at his prowess, to think of him as a winner instead of someone to be pitied. I was allowed free reign to be my charming self, so long as I stuck to the basics of the script.
And then we went home. Home where there were aprons on hooks in the kitchen and Glade plug-ins in the sockets in each of the bedrooms. S liked me to pick out a tie for him each morning. He wanted me to greet him each night with a gin and tonic. He asked me if I wouldn’t mind hanging my things next to his in the closet and leaving my lipsticks out on the counter by his toothbrush.
Last night he went one step further.
“So Alexa, if it’s okay with you I thought we’d stay in tonight for a change.”
“Sure. That sounds great.”
“…do you think…do you think maybe you could fry me a chicken?”
Did I think I could fry him a chicken?! Did I think…ummm…
“S…gee…I—this is really not my skill set.”
He nodded his head and looked down dejectedly.
“Sorry.” Seriously he did not want me messing with any of his appliances. If he had a clue about my pie-exploding past—
“Um…do you think if I gave you directions that you could pick us up some fried chicken? And then you could put it on some plates like you just made it?”
Call me Tanlexa.
Thankfully I’m going home tomorrow. Hopefully the real me will be waiting for me when I get back.

I feel sorry for this guy.
He's going to have quite a come down from his fantasy when you go.
Posted by Toby on Jan 24 04:13AMToby and Charles are right. Weird situation. He is creating a little fantasy world for himself. While fantasys are fun, I don't think a multiple day emersion into a fantasy world is so good. Plus he has to explain to his friends now why you rarely (if ever) come to visit after your gone. Good luck to the poor fella.
Jeregano's senseless 2 cents.
I think some of your readers are being a little harsh. Isn't your skill set helping men live their fantasies? His may be a little less exciting than most (it's clearly now swinging from the chandeliers), but it is still his fantasy (even if he is hoping, deep down, that it could become reality).
The more interesting question is not whether the real you will be waiting in NY (it's a silly question, since you will easily revert back to yourself after playing this role), but how long until he returns to NY permanently. And, with a wonderful excuse to his then former colleagues. He's chasing true love (regardless as to whether this is reality).
Good luck. I don't think this story is over.
Posted by ralph on Jan 24 10:23AMThis is what gets me: who could possibly _pretend_ that fast-food fried chicken is homemade?? I'm not a "foodie", but this has me shuddering..!
Posted by Brett on Jan 24 11:01AMFantasies can vary in their cause and, as such, in the type and extent of impact they deliver when disillusionment occurs.
At one end of the scale, sex role-play fantasy for example is entirely deliberate, consensual and has no ill effects when the fantasy finishes; those concerned *know* and accept it's a fantasy and it is not being used to avoid dealing with other issues.
At the other end of the scale, and this chap is I suspect an example, his fantasy is actually an intense denial of the reality and misery he is in. I suspect he'd like the fantasy never to end; but it will, and he'll be back where he was, in misery, although no less able to deal with it than in the first place.
It may be that the time he spends in the fantasy does him good, gives him a rest and a break; or it may be that it does harm, since the reality he is avoiding could be getting worse, the longer he fails to deal with it.
Posted by Toby on Jan 24 01:51PMWow! I'm sorry if this may come out harsh but first of all I get that you are extremely good at your occupation. But doesn't it feel as though S is taking the slightest advantage of you? I mean you are being paid and everything but wanting you at his every whim. My god! A girls got to have some time for herself! I suggest you take it easy for a bit when you return to the great NYC! You deserve a break.
Posted by Kait on Jan 24 03:58PMDid you just get married to this guy?!? Oh dear, dear, dear, frying chicken for him is not a good thing.. Good luck!
Posted by Elynne on Jan 25 10:10AMit seems like this is just delaying the inevitable and could cause more harm then good, but i guess your job is to provide that a fantasy with your sexual prowess, not your culinary skills... ;) but there was the doughnuts!
Posted by machiavelli on Jan 25 12:49PMLet's hope he's not really falling in love with you. It's a tough line to walk (I do it badly all the time =/ ) and I'm not sure what to tell you if it happens - except be brutal and end it, since it appears that you are quite happy in your present life situation.
The longer this guy allows himself the idea that this could become reality, the worse it will be for him when he falls flat on his face.
Much luck and good feeling to you.

about me
So why am I writing this blog? I have an inner exhibitionist that just needs to be let out. I've always wanted to bare myself completely in front of strangers but have always been held back by fear.
As strange as it may sound, I've never really truly bared myself in front of any of my clients. For all that they've seen, they've never seen me be me. And for all that I've seen, I simply need to share it with you!
So why should you come? To be tantalized and teased. To get release by knowing the true me.
I promise that I won't bite, and if I do bite, I'll make sure you like it!

Multiple personality disorder and schizophrenia are two completely different things. You're defininitely describing Multiple personalities. Just saying.
