Actually, I like that only part of your posts don't show on the main page. I think it looks messy to have a series of long posts right on the front page.

But I understand that some people don't like to have to go to a second page (their browser may be slow, for example). You can do what I did, which is to put in a plugin for the "show/hide" command. That way, you can still keep your posts short and if someone wants to read the whole thing, they can click on the button but not have to be directed to a second page.
