Snow Day

The thing about AI is that the talent gets signed. Sure, some pubescent twats on a message board make fun of the guy because he doesn't look like Justin Timberlake. But those are the same ones who fell all over the nappy-headed kid in season one, so their taste is questionable to begin with.

Then they forget about season 2 where the fattie-uggo contingent cleaned up. (Granted Kimberly Locke cleaned up real nice.) Clay and Ruben weren't exactly perfect specimens of manhood.

American Idol isn't a contest. It's a fishing expedition. If you make it to the top twelve and have even a little bit of talent, you'll get signed by someone. Hell, even Josh Gracin from Season 2 and Amy Adams from Season 3 got contracts. The guy has a contract waiting for him when he leaves the show, you can count on it.
