thanks brock. i debated whether mini me should look like me when i go out partying (sexy me) or when i am out with clients for a night on the town (sophisticated me).

I also find glasses to be very sexy. If I were your client, I might even request you to wear them. I'm sure many other clients would be turned on by them as well.

ABSOLUTELY OK with the glasses. And the eyes, hair, etc. I understand about the Lasik, too. Having the cash on hand to pay for it is only half the battle.

Yeah, watch out for laser eye surgery. One of my mom's friends had it done, and as a result has lost her night vision. She can't drive at night at all; apparently she sees halos around everything.

I was going to say that you should get the laser surgery... I had it about 3 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. I haven't had any problems, not even dry eyes. Do your homework, and go to the best doctor around. I reccomend TLC eye centers.

Alexa, while I think girls in glasses are ultra-hot, I'd have to say go ahead and get the LASIK done. The risk is tiny but the payoff is enormous. I had it done in 2001 and I still think it's the best money I've ever spent. And no one says you can't ever wear glasses after the surgery. It gives you the freedom to choose without having to deal with those damn contacts. Cute doll too!

That Lasik surgery is getting better though... I might give it another year or two of technological development and then take the leap...

I wear glasses too -- out in public, I wear contacts. I hate both and can't wait until I can afford LASIK surgery.

It doesn't hurt. It's about a half-and-hour procedure (out-patient) and they put numbing drops in your peepers and you also get a mild relaxing drug to calm you down. Apparently, your eyes itch like hell for days afterward.

I always thought guys didn't make passes at girls who wear glasses, but they drive my husband wild.

I put my doll on my diary a few days back. That dollmaker is totally addictive...and time-consuming!! I want to look at EVERYTHING before I made a decision about ANYTHING!

Hot. =) I need glasses pretty bad, (my vision for reading at longer distances sucks royal blue monkeys), but I'm too stubborn to get them. Maybe I'll cough up the cash some day for Lasik surgery, but until then, I'm glasses-less me.

But, nonetheless, you look kind of like how I picture you. And on a completely unrelated note, I've updated after a week hiatus. I apologize for shameless plugging and whoring myslef on your blog, Alexa. ;)

Go for the LASIK. I had it done in November and am thrilled with the results. The actual laser itself only takes one minute per eye; you're in the operating room for maybe ten minutes. Also, they have a new technology now called IntraLasik - look it up. It means they use one laser to make the incision and another to do the correction, meaning there is NO knife in your eye and the risk of problems plummets to virtually zero. It's a tad more expensive, but what's more important than your vision? I was a -7.50 before the operation and am now 20/20, and I had NO problems whatsoever - no itching or burning or watering or dry eye or anything - so don't let the rest of these guys scare you off it. I was driving within 24 hours.

Just wanted to chime in- glasses are sexy. I don't need them but many times I've thought about getting some snazzy frames.

I've had glasses since kindergarten, and I'll always keep them. Why? I've been nailed in the face by too many fast-moving objects that could've taken my eyes out had they not been protected by by outrageously thick lenses.

Plus, the doctor actually made me stop trying to put them in the one time I looked into contacts because I was seriously irritating my eyes with all the poking and making no progress.

I gave the the Doll Maker a try, I am such a net whore! I think mine looks a lot like me but I have moca skin and they didn't quite have it in my shade :\ Even tho I found this a cheap way of showing myself! when I can just put a photo up! Oh I have! But you can't see my face!
