I've once seen a Scandinavian / Northern European movie on a public station here in Holland by Lars von Trier (Dogville). It featured hardcore sex performed by the actors themselves. Now, the only reason anyone has even HEARD of Brown Bunny is due to this scene. Vincent Gallo (writer/director/actor) is an ass who thinks he can do anything. Granted, his first movie, Buffalo 66, is one of my favorites, however, he a pompous jerk and rarely gets roles (if you check his status on IMDB, you will see a lot of straight-to-video crappy sci-fi movies).

Basically, the only reason that anyone went to see the movie was due to the Chloe Sevigny blowjob.

Not to say that I went for any other reason. Chloe is one of my favorite actresses and is in at least 5 of my top 20 movies. Now, vincent gallo evidently knew that this was the only reason that people would go to see his movie, so he was torturing us for the entire thing. The first hour was basically shots out of the front window of his van with him driving on the highway. There were probably 6 3-minute scenes mixed in, but other than that it was just driving footage. The short scenes were basically him acting cool and women thinking he was hot.

I felt so stupid. And so did the rest of the audience. We were watching crap. But we sat through it for the blowjob. The ending of the film (the last 15 minutes) which included the blowjob and a tiny bit of plot was slightly interesting, but not enough to merit the mind numbing driving sequences.
