A New York Escorts Confessions
Vote
Whether you live in a blue state, red state or swing state, every state is a battleground state. Even if your state’s electoral votes are decided, your vote is critical. If Kerry wins, he needs as much of a popular mandate as he can get. If Bush wins, he needs to hear our dissenting voices.
The Republican parties disgusts me with its tactics intended to silence the voters. They’re sending out armies of vote challengers to minority neighborhoods to intimidate minority and poor voters. Who do they think they are? Did Dick Cheney fly around the world super fast like Superman and send us back to the pre-Civil Rights era? I’m sure that he wants to bring back the fire hoses and the German shepherds.
So go vote.
Let’s shout to the politicians, “No more!” No more lies. No more intimidation.
We will be heard.

Hey there Alexa ...
Your political voice is heard ... loud and crystal clear ...
Rock on and express yourself precisely as you choose .....
Posted by E. Soul on Nov 2 10:27AMyou truly are in the right profession if the above rant is your true beliefs. that is if you really are who you say you are and are not simply some 40-something fat dude that loves to masterbate to the idea of being a "high class" call girl. ha, i still read though, i find the stupidity refreshing sometimes.
Posted by joe blow on Nov 2 11:45AMYou state "The Republican parties disgusts me with its tactics intended to silence the voters. They're sending out armies of vote challengers to minority neighborhoods to intimidate minority and poor voters. Who do they think they are?" ...what the hell do you think the Dems are doing? The same damn thing...Bad politics and polititians are not restricted to only one of the evil political empires we've created...they both SUCK!
"Let's shout to the politicians, "No more!" No more lies. No more intimidation" - So, go run for President Baby! As long as a "career polititian" is running for pres, this will continue...
Posted by AB on Nov 2 12:09PMYou don't have to vote. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
If you haven't taken the time to learn about the issues and the candidates, or if you don't have at least a fundamental understanding of the structure and workings of our government, please do, us all a favor and stay home.
Voting is not just a right - it has a corresponding duty too.
Ciao, Alexa.
While I was profiling prospective voters I was repeatedly astonished to
find how many Southern folks (not to mention Ari ((goes down)), miao!) support 70-80% of
Kerry’s positions, 45-55% of Bush’s, yet were all eagerbeaver to vote for Bush.
How could this be?
Let us examine a typical case . . . .
There sits the Widow Lang, in her cabbagerose papered front parlour, a
freezedried Cat tom, the one she never got over, on the mantelpiece next to a
faded daguerreotype of her greatgreatgrandparents back home amidst the
cottonfields. On the rosewood, marbletopped sidetable, a yellowing, dogeared
copy of Grit, dated 9.11.
Suddenly a sound of frantic hoofbeats ruptures the hermetic stillness of
the room. A dismount, footsteps on the mossybrick walk. Barely time for a peep
through the lace curtains . . . .
It’s Boyish George, come a’courting, in horsesweatsoaked boots, torn and
snagged jeans tight across the butt, even tighter across his--well anyhow. String
tie, a Marlboro spittleglued to his lower lip. The Widow’s heart goes a’thumpity
thump. And look at his betrothal present! A knittingbag made Old
Testamentstyle of the sewntogether foreskins of tens of thousands of Iraqi
“thems,” and inside, the goggleeyed head of Osama bin--no, it’s Saddam’s head.
Well what’s the difference, ‘tis the thought that counts.
Widow all a’twitter. 9.11 come knocking no more on my door.
But then, the deep, powerful, tigerlike purr of a stretch Jaguar.
Why, it’s John Gaunt, also come a’courting.
John Gaunt, so tall, and so thin, and his French tie so chicly glistening,
and his Armani suit so floppy you can’t see a nip or a bun to save your soul.
And what’s he brought as betrothal gift?
Why it’s a, it’s a--it can’t be, thinks Widow Lang.
But it is. It’s a nosegay of Parma violets, pansies that is to say, flown in
fresh from some Left Bank hothouse.
What a quandary, no time to think. (Except Widow Lang does think of
that swarthy Rafe the Naderite, whose idea of courtship was to let out the air
from her SUV’s tires, for a Hallowe’en prank; and of poor wispy Little David
Cobbler, who emailed her a dollaroff coupon for a Thanksgiving tofurkey.)
Boyish George or John Gaunt?
Horsesweat and manly mangore and tarandnicotine and tightassed denim
on the one hand.
On the other, a dozen lavender pansies.
Yet what if the nosegay conceals a threecarat diamond solitaire?
Yet what if it doesn’t?
What’s a gal to do?--Giacmc, lo Sciocco di foolandjuggler
I'm with you, Alexa. Kerry has my vote. I can honestly say the only level I'm on with Bush is his views about the death penalty - however, that's not NEAR enough to sway me to vote for him.
Posted by Dawn (webmiztris) on Nov 2 12:27PMgiacmc - so right on and most eloquently put!
And Alexa, it was my pleasure to vote for Kerry at 7:03 this am!
Posted by Melanie on Nov 2 12:36PMDemocrats are trying to increase voter registration and turn out. Republicans are trying to stop it. End of story. Draw your moral conclusions.
As a Canadian all I can do is watch and cross my fingers... The world sees the last US election as a horrible mistake that we have to endure. Bush re-elected means he really IS America's preference. And that means the slow end of America's global influence.
I wrote a short note on this topic last night at my blog. http://martiantimeslip.blogspot.com/
Please elect John Kerry, eh?
Posted by Ben on Nov 2 12:44PMAlexis,
I disagree with you on who should win however even though your vote will cancel mine, I am glad you are voting.
Your blog is a fascinating read and thank you for providing it for us.
Sincerely,
Ed
I'm going Kerry too, but to think that each party isn't trying to maximize its own voter turnout while minimizing the other's is delusional. The only real difference is that it's harder for democrats to intimidate wealthy republicans than it is for republicans to intimidate poorer and lesser-educated voters.
The system is screwed up no matter how you look at it, and while Kerry seems considerably less like the anti-christ he still aint no messiah.
All of that said... folks, don't forget that a healthy portion of seats in congress are up for grabs today, and here in CA we've got some pretty important propositions. There's more to vote on than just who gets the white house.

Well, once we find out who our president will be in december, i'll be happy to hear that Kerry will be that man.
Posted by Zisk on Nov 2 02:06PMYes, all voters should learn about the issues and candidates before voting. But, despite what some may say, it IS our right. It is the right of ALL Americans, irregardless of race, class or education. Attempts to discourage any blocs of people from voting reeks of fear - it is a tactic of the elite to stay in power by depriving the opinions of their constituency. And how do you know that the high turnout of new voters are not informed? If anything, the events of the past four years have opened a lot of eyes.
Posted by Phil on Nov 2 03:10PMis everybody on these comment boards.. old men? Anyways people 18-25 shouldn't vote because they think they know anything about politics.
go bush.
Posted by Jessica on Nov 2 03:16PMI voted for Michael Badnarik, the Libertarian candidate. But I felt free to do it only because Bush is sure to lose in my home state, California.
Posted by The Anti-Puritan on Nov 2 03:35PMJust a little election note from a swing state. A man was arrested in my town Friday, Oct 29, 2004 for going door to door requesting absentee ballots. HE HAD A LIST..... One of his lines was that his Union received tax breaks on their benefits for helping in the election. Was it a Republican trying to screw Kerry while making the Unions look bad. NO. He was a Democrat, from NY. Sorry honey, it works both ways. They are all dirty. Who do you want to vote for, the man that would avenge your fathers death, or the one who would sweep in and marry your mother after the inheritance and insurance settlement??
PS Does anyone really care what Canada thinks???
Posted by mike on Nov 2 03:58PMI voted this morning bright and early, cast my singleton vote for Kerry, and put an old man in his place with the lesbian card. Fantastic time! Details on my site, but suffice it to say, it's one of my all-time favorite lesbian moments.
Posted by Kim on Nov 2 04:10PMThank God I don't need to vote. I'd go mad like everyone else in this country. It seems that's what elections makes people do.
Posted by Adam on Nov 2 04:12PMI think you forgot to mention the Dems in states like Pennsylvania fighting to make absentee ballots of our soldiers overseas not count.
The troops are 4 to 1 for Bush, The guys and gals being "forced" to fight the war are for it, think that means anything?
I'm glad someone posted the Bill Moyer speech on here. That shit is gold I tell you what!
Cheers to you and your commitment to your beliefs in politics. My age is a lost cause. My vote is lost in a cause to cancel out my girlfriends vote. She believes in letting bush stay to finish what he started. The old "Don't change horse's midstream" type thinking. The only thing I can see Bush finishing, is democracy in america. It sucks to scream atrocities going on around us and be given a deaf ear to the masses you seek to reach. I doubt I've swayed anyones thinking. People are programmed to vote sides. If your dads a republican your gonna vote republican. yadayadayada bullshit. I vote based on wrong and right. Bush is a corrupt man with a personal agenda. the more he takes the more i lose. I personally hope that if he loses power, he gets audited. I want his documents public. His sale of stocks from his debunked oil companies, his texas records. Show me what he has to hide. if he's as forthcoming as he says where's the fucking docs showing us?
I'm glad you rocked the vote. Anyone who says anything against your decisions on who you voted for is not a true american. It's our right to make mistakes, and our freedom to vote for who we believe in. If you tell me I shouldn't vote, then your right up there with Mousalini. Control is no ones issue but your own.
hopefully we will have a brighter tommorow :-D
-ev
I have to disagree with your statement that Repubs are undermining the vote. I'll contrast with the example of the Repub primary and the Dems primary. Dems? No picketing rioters. Repubs? Massive picketing, rioting, a militancy that I would have expected from the Repubs. I'm not saying the either are blameless, but then again, Neither one is blameless. My cent and a half.
Posted by yellowbomb on Nov 2 05:52PMSome quips in response to the comments:
-Vote early, vote often. lol
-Canada is "Little America" lol
-Both Primaries (Rep and Dem) had protesters (and many of the protesters are from the same groups)
Stick to what you do best. The world doesn't need another political pundit...
Posted by Ken on Nov 2 09:27PMI voted, proudly for Kerry. And I live in Texas. Cant stand Bush after these past 4 years..Im eager to get him out of there.
Posted by Traci on Nov 2 09:52PMHey Alexis,
Don't believe everything you read or see on the news. How much do you really know about the issues rather than the hyperbole and hype? If you are basing your vote on items such as this then you are not doing anyone a favor. It's your vote, but it should be for the right reasons. Open your eyes and get your head out of the sand or wherever it is! Having said this, I must say, isn't it great to be able to express your opinion? I certainly think so.
Posted by Darrell on Nov 3 12:12AMLooks like the voice of the country is predominantly Republican. GOD, I hate people.
Posted by Dante on Nov 3 01:12AMIt really doesn't matter WHO people voted for, as long as they made an informed decision and went out there and DID it.
Stop bashing her for putting up her point of view, morons. It's okay if you want to oppose her, but calling her names isn't making you look very smart.
Go Kerry! Bush sucks! (in the style of the classic 3rd grade playground antics)
Posted by Devi on Nov 3 01:54AMyeah, only republikenz lie. demokratz are 100% honest and always tell the truth and want peace and happyness for everyone, except republikenz. dick cheney is ugly and evel. im a poor minority and dick cheney sent an army to my house an i wuz rilly entimidated. daddy is going to beat me if bush wins so voat for Karry.
Posted by dago on Nov 3 03:10AMwell, there are only TWO occupations that allow people to LIE legally, one as you would had guessed, is by virtue of being a Politician.
The other, a Lawyer.
Posted by stupe on Nov 3 03:32AMOk I am convinced, americans are idiots, no doubt about that. I just wish Bush would build the great wall of america and isolate you guys from the world.
Posted by Miguel on Nov 3 04:48AMWell that's great, but then where would the rest of the world get its McDonald's and GAP?
oh--nevermind the GAP, all that shit's made in China anyway.

about me
So why am I writing this blog? I have an inner exhibitionist that just needs to be let out. I've always wanted to bare myself completely in front of strangers but have always been held back by fear.
As strange as it may sound, I've never really truly bared myself in front of any of my clients. For all that they've seen, they've never seen me be me. And for all that I've seen, I simply need to share it with you!
So why should you come? To be tantalized and teased. To get release by knowing the true me.
I promise that I won't bite, and if I do bite, I'll make sure you like it!
