A New York Escorts Confessions
Indecision 2004
I’m all politcked out. In the last election, I only watched the presidential debates on SNL. In this election, I’ve not only watched all the presidential debates but also the veep debate as well.
(OK, so I watched them on The Daily Show too — Jon Stewart’s a cutie! But I’ve given up on SNL and on all the network news shows I never watched in the first place.)
Although I’m glad that the debates have raised the collective political IQ of America, I’m also glad that they’re over. Stuffing any more facts, policies, “exaggeRATIONS” and lies into my little brain would make it pop.
Watching the debates has reformed my image of Bush, though…
Before watching the debates, I thought that Bush was only a dim-witted puppet being pulled along by big corporations and the unholy triumvirate otherwise known as the “True” Axis of Evil — Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz. After watching the debates, I now believe that Cheney is to Bush as the Emperor is to Darth Vader. Those who misunderestimate Bush’s intelligence do so at their own peril.
Seriously, though, the last couple debates have added one more topic to the heaping list of “Things I Hate About Bush” — abortion. (The list went beyond 10 things a long time ago.)
Did any of you catch Bush’s reference to Dred Scott in the last debate? I had no idea what he meant when he said that he wouldn’t appoint some judge who supported the Dred Scott decision. It turns out that Dred Scott is an infamous decision by the Supreme Court to support slavery and that the pro-life movement equates Roe v. Wade with Dred Scott. In other words, Bush will only appoint Supreme Court justices who would try to overturn Roe v. Wade. Don’t believe me? Check out this article. Bush confirmed this perspective by squirming last night when asked if would appoint a justice who would overturn Roe v. Wade.
Who the hell are you to tell me what to do with my body?!
So anyways, for those who haven’t registered to vote, you’re an idiot. For those who have registered to vote, please vote for Kerry. He may not be the best, but he’s a hell of a lot better than Bush. And for those who are Red Sox fans, sorry but my boys are better!

It may not do any good to explain this, but Bush's point wasn't specifically about legalizing or abolishing abortion, but using the proper legal channels to go either way on abortion. In Dred Scott, just like Roe vs. Wade, Supreme Court judges exceeded their legal authority, did something they had no power to do. The Supreme Court "made up" certain rights to justify Roe vs. Wade, a power that belongs only to Congress or to the states. The Supreme Court's expressed duty is to interpret, literally, the text of the Constitution, not to add new text onto it. (There's a seperate process for that.) Both cases violate the checks and balances that make the Constitution work, and it sets a terrible precedent where unelected, unaccountable officials can basically make law out of whatever the hell they want. That's why you'll hear some people snickering whenever Kerry refers to Roe vs. Wade as "the law of the land". It isn't. It's like if Bush suddenly decided he wants to write the laws himself. It just doesn't work that way. Roe vs. Wade doesn't protect your right to have an abortion because in any sane hearing, it would be overturned in a snap of the fingers. If you want an actual "right", you, too, should support overturning their non-ruling so it can either have a fair hearing before the people who are actually tasked with making law.Overturning Roe vs. Wade doesn't ban abortion, a lie Kerry's people really, really need you to believe (just like they need you to believe that embryonic stem cell research could've saved Christopher Reeve, that the Assault Weapons Ban was about machine guns, and that outsourcing causes more than 1% of job loss). It just means that it has to be heard through the proper channels, and that's just good governance. That's not to debate the merits of abortion itself, which is something else entirely, but just the legal aspect.

(Morning JOKE!
"The hooker and the city"
A guy is walking along the strip in Las Vegas and a knockout hooker catches his eye.
He strikes up a conversation and eventually asks the hooker how much?
The hooker replies, "It starts at $500 for a hand-job."
The guy says, "$500 dollars! For a hand-job! No hand-job is worth that kind of money!"
The hooker says, "Do you see that Denny's on the corner?"
"Yes."
"Do you see the Denny's about a block further down?"
"Yes."
"And beyond that, do you see that third Denny's?"
"Yes."
"Well," says the hooker, smiling invitingly, "I own those. And, I own them because I give a hand-job that's worth $500."
The guy says, "What the hell? I'll give it a try."
They retire to a nearby motel. A short time later, the guy is sitting on the bed realizing that he just experienced the hand-job of a lifetime, worth every bit of $500.
He is so amazed, he says, "How much for a blow job."
The hooker replies, "$1,500."
"$1,500? No blow-job could be worth that".
The hooker replies, "Step over here to the window. Do you see that casino just across the street? I own that casino. And I own it because I give a blow-job that's worth every cent of $1,500."
The guy, basking in the afterglow of that terrific hand-job, says, "Okay, let's do it."
Ten minutes later, he is sitting on the bed more amazed than ever. He can scarcely believe it but he feels he truly got his money's worth. He decides to dip into the retirement savings for one glorious and unforgettable experience. He asks the hooker, "How much for some pussy?"
The hooker says, "Come over here to the window. Do you see how the whole city of Las Vegas is laid out before us, all those beautiful lights, gambling palaces, and showplaces?"
"Damn!" the guy says, in awe, "You own the whole city?"
"No," the hooker replies, "but I would if I had a pussy."
Your ability to go from pinapples to politics is what makes this a special blog to read.

Hehe, this is exactly my opinion. America is unable to give more than two vital alternatives for the commander in chief for that country (I know that you are used to it, but check other countries).
The positions stated in the debates do not differ significantly. It is like making a choice between cheddar and sharp cheddar while more than other 300 kinds of cheese exist.
Despite the above I am a strong Kerry supporter, because Bush messed everything so wrong that Kerry should be able to do better. An this is my exact position: http://lesserevil.peio.org/

Alexa,
I've been reading your blog for about 6 weeks and I love it. You provide some juicy details in regards to your sexual escapades. You drop in some hefty political tid bits and today I discover that your a Yankees fan. You may be the most perfect woman around. I thought it might be Yanks in 6 or 7. If Boston does not win tomorrow night then it will be Yanks in 5.

Posted by David on Oct 14 02:05PMThere's an article by one of George Bush's former professors from Yale. He talks about how Bush wasn't the brightest of his pupils, but he was very manipulative, and cast down rumor and misinformation about students that would challenge him to debate.
He also mentions how Bush once blamed all the problems of the country on the poor.
Who wants a president who only likes 18% of the nation?
Posted by Evan Ames Is An Asshole on Oct 14 02:49PM"There's an article by one of George Bush's former professors from Yale."
There's an awful lot of articles from other Vietnam vets about Kerry, too. That's right up there with "Leading news organizations say..." in terms of starting off a point. Really, nothing personal. I'm just saying. I'm got pictures of Kerry meeting workers through a chain link fence. What does *that* say?
Posted by Aaron on Oct 14 03:00PMI felt pretty insulted several times during the debates last night, thanks to Bush --
1) If you're job has been outsourced -- go to community college [WTF? I see, so we're all stupid now, thanks a lot Bush]
2) "I dunno" if homosexuality is a choice [Yeah, so they all just CHOOSE to put themselves through mental and emotional turmoil for kicks]
3) I didn't have anything to say about the assault weapons ban because I was told Congress wouldn't pass it [Again, WTF?]
4) You all have more money in your pockets because of me and my tax cuts [How do I have more money because of his tax cuts when I don't have children and I'm not married?]
In regards to stem cell research -- it may not have saved Christopher Reeve's life but the research may help others in his condition who are still with us today. And I don't hear these pro-lifers screaming "mass murder!" at in-vitro fertilization clinics, do I?
Posted by Amy on Oct 14 05:18PMThe thing I love about being Canadian the most is that our leadership election lasted less than 40 days. From start of campaigning to the annoucement, it took little time to choose our Prime Minister.
It seems that this election has been going on now for about 4 years since the day Darth Bush took the oath.
I figure Americans have to choose between the lesser of two evils and for the love of God, people...VOTE KERRY!
Not registering to vote has been given negative connotations, and maybe with reason, but it's not a big deal if a) you're positive the candidate you would be voting for is going to win, and b)you're not informed enough to make a well-supported decision. I'm positive that Bush will win (which doesn't go to say I'm an avid Bush supporter), and more importantly, I have only a vague notion of what either candidates' platform is, mostly because at this point in my life I'm not interested in politics. On a side note, the Yankees suck. I'd love to see how'd they'd do without that absurd salary cap. Go Sox.
Posted by Dago on Oct 14 05:30PMI thought the whole Dred Scott comment was a pretty pathetic plea to get the black vote.
Posted by Phin on Oct 14 05:42PMAccording to the Constitution, Cheney should've been barred from running for VP in 2000.
Here's one of the clauses from the 14th Amendment:
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
From what I recall, Cheney took an oath multiple times prior to running Haliburton. During Cheney's tenure at Haliburton, the company provided services and aid to Iran, a sworn enemy of the US.
Do any of you recall a two-thirds vote to remove this consitutionally mandated disability?
Posted by cheneysux on Oct 14 06:12PMFirst off, I want to start off by telling you that you are highly intelligent and witty and amusing. I love reading everyday.I myself am from Staten Island origionally..I am a soldier in the United States Army, and I am currently overseas. I read your posts everyday, It gives me a sense of emotion. I cant explain how, it just does. Not that i can relate to any of the escort scenarios, but your personal feelings. I will be returning back to the United States on December 17th after being here for a year and 4 months. I cant wait. Im so sick of being recluse. Its going to feel so weird to come back to civilization again. I could go on forever telling you how you impacted my views on certain situations but I dont have time right now... Basically, I just wanted to say thanks. take care

Youre joking, right? Thats the best pro-Roe argument you have? The government tells everyone everyday what they can't do with their bodies, in the eyes of the law.
No illegal drugs. No sex for money. No drinking and driving. No public nudity.
All laws restrict your ability to do something, even with your own body.
Posted by scott on Oct 14 06:57PMYou call people who haven't registered to vote idiots, yet you didn't know the Dred Scott case?

Posted by Michael:)~ on Oct 14 08:58PMHey Alexa,
I don't want to change your vote but I do want to clarify that Bush made the Dred Scott comment to say the he would not have Judges to do exactly what you fear, which is overturn Roe v. Wade.
Bush believes these things should come through the legislative process, such as Congress. And even with a full Republican Congress they are not going to overturn this important procedure.
No, most Republicans do not like abortion as does anybody who is getting one. They are hard and very emotional and Republicans understand that, so they want to offer choices for these girls and women.
No, we will never go back to the back ally days or have a military draft.
Your other points are valid, Alex, and I just wanted to clarify this one important point.
Remember, it was Charlie Rangold Democrat of New York that put the bill in to start the draft again and it was the Republican Congress that voted it down.
And thank you Daniel, for all that you and your fellow soldiers do for us every day. We owe you so much more than we give you. I was in the Army and remember how lonley you feel, even though you have hundreds of people around. Keep up your spirits and we can't wait to have you back home!!!

"Who the hell are you to tell me what to do with my body?!"
The government already does a million and one ways:
* You can't put cocaine into your body.
* Likewise, crystal meth, herion, speed, etc.
* You have to wear a seatbelt in most states so your body isn't damaged in a car crash.
* Likewise a helmet on a motorcyle.
* If want a limb voluntarily removed, a doctor isn't allowed to do it. (Yes, people who do want that exist. Google it.)
* You can't sell your body for sex (legally).
* You can't sell your organs for money.
So please tell me why exactly this is different other than a group of militant feminazis called NOW (though they represent only a small subset of women) tell you to say that?

Posted by Jed on Oct 15 12:13PMRE: Dred Scott
Bush gave the same answer about gay marriage. The point is that the court of the land should NOT have the power to make law for the entire country. So in the gay marriage part, Bush was quite clear that by proposing an amendment, states would have to vote on it, thus "the people" have a voice vs some judge making a decision by judcial fiat.
Roe v. Wade exists as "law" only because congress has not been pushed by the people to actually create a law about this. While you may like the result of Roe v. Wade, the process should bother you -- it's the same process that lead to Dred Scott, which is the President's point. It is a bad, bad way to make law.
FWIW, I'd vote no on the constitutional amendment about gay marriage, but I'd be happy if it actually was voted on rather than handed to me by a judge in Mass.
Posted by athos on Oct 15 02:25PMThe court of the land didn't make the law though - it just interpreted the existing law. OK, I know that's a fine line, but the lawmakers of the land have had every opportunity to overrule the court of the land - as it surely can by passing new law - and they've not done it. Isn't that an acquiesence by the lawmakers of not only the court's right to interpret but also of the specific interpretation in Roe vs Wade?
There's checks and balances all round here, folks. The court shouldn't overstep the mark, but very occasionally on stuff that would otherwise be bogged down forever in politics, it does. The lawmakers should slap down such an affront to the separation of powers, but they recognise that it was the only way out, so they don't.
I can only speak as an absolute outsider to the US's system, being from the UK, but the guarded truce on both sides of that and other similarly-sensitive decisions should be seen as a success - not as a failure.
Posted by Alan on Oct 15 08:39PMbush's point was not at all about something being wrong with the system. it was his way of telling his fundamentalist supporters that he would get Roe v. Wade overturned. I'm quite sure Bush would not be so determined to change the system if the RvW decision had gone the other way.
and regarding the government controlling what we do to our bodies, all those things can have a negative impact on OTHER people. drugs, drinking and driving, etc. could result in injury or death to someone else. Sure, abortion affects the father emotionally and obviously the unborn fetus, but the greatest affect is on the pregnant woman. How can you force a woman to carry a child for 9 months and give birth?
And what about partial birth abortions -- done only in extreme cases where the woman's life is at risk. By banning this procedure bush made it official -- a woman's life is worthless, other than to reproduce.
Posted by laura on Oct 16 01:37PMAll I can say is that Bush's statements regarding choosing judge's who make their judicial decisions without any emotional or personal thought is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard. He obviously has never been involved in law. Law is never "black and white", so of course personal feelings and opinion is going to be part of the way judges interpret laws. So anyone who believes that he is not going to choose anti Roe v. Wade justices is going to be in for a rude surprise.

about me
So why am I writing this blog? I have an inner exhibitionist that just needs to be let out. I've always wanted to bare myself completely in front of strangers but have always been held back by fear.
As strange as it may sound, I've never really truly bared myself in front of any of my clients. For all that they've seen, they've never seen me be me. And for all that I've seen, I simply need to share it with you!
So why should you come? To be tantalized and teased. To get release by knowing the true me.
I promise that I won't bite, and if I do bite, I'll make sure you like it!
